David Michael Letterman /ˈdeɪvɪd ˈmaɪkəl ˈlɛtɚmæn/, né le 12 avril 1947 à Indianapolis (Indiana), est un animateur, humoriste et producteur de télévision américain. L'humour ironique et souvent absurde de Letterman fut fortement influencé par Steve Allen, Ernie Kovacs et Johnny Carson.
